Cancelation on Jan. 29th

We will be cancelling our group meeting on Jan. 29th, due to all this bad weather. We are asking that each child, decorate a Valentine bag or box (be creative) and bring it in on our Feb. 12th meeting. We will judge them to see who made the neatest one. Also don't forget to bring in your valentines on that day. Also if anyone would like to bring in a snack please feel free to do so.

Our Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be on January 29th, at 12:30 in the Preschool room at the YMCA. During this group meeting the kids will be making thier Valentine Bags. Please bring in any items that you feel the kids could use to decorate them.
Our trip to the WonderLab was moved to Feb. 5th at 9:30A. The price will be $4.50 a child. If we have 10 children then the adults will be free. We will post more on the field trip later, but pencil it in and try to plan on attending!

January 22nd Meeting "Science Expermints"

The kids had lots of fun at our meeting on the 22nd of January. Each family brought in a "Science" project to show. We learned about plants (lima beans), and got some projects that each kid gets to take home and watch it grow. There was also a project on Volcano's, a project with an apple, and one with a ball and jar. The kids loved to learn about the different things and are eager to expermint with them at home on thier own. Here are some pics of the kids.

Meeting on Jan. 22nd

Hello Everyone! Our next meeting will be on Jan. 22nd and will be held at the YMCA in the preschool room. The meeting will start at 12:30p. We are asking each family to bring in a "Science Expermint" to share with us. It doesn't have to be anything big just a small expermint. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.

Jan. 15th meeting

Our first meeting for the 09 year was held Jan. 15th. This meeting's topic was "Getting to Know Each Other." The kids brought in items that represented the type of person they were. Then we played a getting to know you detective game. The kids really had fun. After that we enjoyed several types of board games such as Bowling, Connect Four, Life, Monopoly Jr.
